A Living Sculpture plays at Salute Your Shorts Film Festival 2020!

This film was one of the first submissions I watched, and it’s lingered in my mind for months. A first-time director with the wisdom of a seasoned pro, Chire builds a beautiful, thoroughly feminine world through her surrealist imagery, luscious production design and gorgeous horn music. Many women will relate to that experience of getting swept up into someone else’s “current” and losing sight of your own goals. I love everything about this film - it’s authentic, fresh, and one of my favorites in the lineup. — Kath Tolentino. (Programmer)
